Heating in Monheim am Rhein
A new heating system for a new build or an existing home: we design and install heat pumps, condensing and hybrid systems, underfloor heating and radiators – with heat load calculation, hydraulic balancing and support with your funding application. Master craftsmen in Monheim am Rhein and the surrounding area.
What we do
Heating installation from concept to acceptance
Whether it is a boiler replacement in a family home or a central plant room for a residential complex: we design the system to standard, install it and document everything for funding and warranty.
- 01.1
Heat pumps
Air-to-water, brine-to-water and water-to-water heat pumps for new and existing buildings – with a noise check of the installation site and design for low flow temperatures.
GModG · VDI 4645 - 01.2
Condensing and hybrid systems
Gas condensing boilers combined with a heat pump or solar thermal, where the building does not yet allow a heat pump on its own.
GModG · Hybrid operation - 01.3
Underfloor heating
Surface heating as wet or dry system, also retrofitted by milling into existing screed. Laying plan, pressure test and heat-up report included.
DIN EN 1264 · Heat-up report - 01.4
Hydraulic balancing
Room-by-room calculation and adjustment of all valves and pumps. Saves energy, eliminates cold radiators and is a prerequisite for funding.
VdZ method B · Confirmation form - 01.5
Heat load calculation
Room-by-room heat load as the basis for correctly sizing the heat generator, radiators and surface heating – instead of guessing from the old boiler.
DIN EN 12831-1 · DIN/TS 12831-1 - 01.6

FAQ
Heating FAQ
F.01How long does it take to install a heat pump?
That depends on the building, the scope of work and the delivery time of the equipment. Before installation come the survey, the heat load calculation and, where applicable, the funding application. We agree the schedule with you in the quote.
F.02What funding is available for a new heating system?
Heat pumps and other heating systems using renewable energy are eligible for KfW heating funding under the Federal Funding for Efficient Buildings (BEG EM). It consists of basic funding plus possible bonuses. Hydraulic balancing is a prerequisite.
Funding conditions change regularly – before quoting, we check the current status and issue the confirmation for your application.
F.03Does a heat pump work in an older building with radiators?
In many cases, yes. What matters is the flow temperature needed on cold days. With a heat load calculation and targeted replacement of individual radiators, the temperature can often be lowered to 55 °C or below – then a heat pump runs efficiently. Where that is not enough, a hybrid system is an option.
F.04What is hydraulic balancing – and do I need it?
Hydraulic balancing sets every radiator or heating circuit so that it receives exactly the amount of water it needs. This saves energy and pump power and eliminates noise and cold rooms. Balancing according to method B (VdZ) is mandatory for funding.
F.05What does the new Building Modernisation Act (GModG) require for new heating systems?
The Building Modernisation Act (GModG) came into force at the end of July 2026; it replaces the former Building Energy Act. The blanket requirement for new heating systems to run mainly on renewable energy has been dropped. New gas and oil boilers are permitted again, but from 2029 they must use a gradually increasing share of climate-friendly fuels such as biomethane, bio-oil or hydrogen (the “Bio-Treppe”). Existing heating systems may continue to be operated and repaired.
Heat pumps and hybrid solutions remain a future-proof choice, as rising bio shares and CO₂ prices may make fossil fuels more expensive over time. We check which solution suits your building under the rules that currently apply.
F.06Do you also offer maintenance and a breakdown service?
Yes. Through our customer service we maintain heat pumps, condensing and hybrid systems at fixed intervals – including systems we did not install ourselves. In the event of a breakdown, we are on site at short notice on working days.
